Great restaurant in a nice location. Three friends and I shared eight appetizers. It was definitely overkill and we didn’t finish everything. Empanadas, croquettes, tacos, lobster tail, fried grasshoppers.. the dishes tasted great and were pleasing to the eye as well. I would have loved to get a to-go bag for the leftovers but we hit the clubs next and none of us wanted to dance around to EDM music carrying a greasy paper bag stuffed with enchiladas and plantains , while also holding a vodka tonic with in the other hand...

Noise--bubbly? No complaints about the food. Good Mocktail Mohito. Nice variety on menu. The guacamole is very good.

Food was beautiful, delectable, and well thought out. Great quality. The portions were perfect. Our server (we sat with the far booth/ chair mixture on the opposite sides next to the aforementioned picture). Our server (26DEC24 around 5/530pm) was phenomenal - I forgot her name. Attentive, very much attention to detail, and great service - but not over doing it like 99% of servers nowadays. In return got a great tip, for exceptional service - I hope she gets a shoutout from the owners...10/10 would recommend this establishment!

An amazing meal and an amazing experience. Party of 3 for the brunch buffet. Servers kept our beverages refreshed. Huge variety of delicious options on the buffet. I didn't even have room to try everything that I wanted. Live music was a nice addition.

My wife and I visited on a Sunday for brunch. We arrived around 11 am. I would recommend setting a reservation if you aren't coming around opening hours. This place gets packed fast! The food was soo good! Open bar, buffet style, live entertainment, and the service was amazing! My water glass never got empty. As we ate and went back to the buffet line to replenish our plates we returned to find our napkins neatly folded and our table had been cleaned and cleared. Awesome service! I noticed a lot of the visitors parked in the neighborhood next to the restaurant. Valet is available ; it is tip only valet. If you enjoy Mexican food you will love this place. From the homemade corn tortilla, tamales, enchilada, and salsa's! FLAVORFUL! This was my first time visiting but it will definitely not be the last!

We were in Houston for six weeks and had a chance to sample a number of restaurants. We’ve went to Hugo’s twice for Happy Hour and thought it was great both times. Carlos, one of the bartenders, was terrific and makes a great margarita. This is Mexican food ( not Tex-Mex) so don’t expect the standard fare. The tamales were the best we’ve had. Friendly, easy parking with a valet option. Will plan to go back with our next visit.

Brunch at Hugo's was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food exceptional, the staff attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for a brisk Houston Sunday. The Band was no less then Perfect. As that is the main reason for my continued experience. As I am an avid Hugo's permanent guest. This is the first time I write a review in the 18 years I have been coming. Thank you For a wonderful 18 years.

A lovely Mexican restaurant offering high-quality food and excellent service. There are plenty of appetizers that are definitely worth trying
